Whether your web site consists of five pages or 500+ pages, Blue Dog has implemented specific processes to ensure on-time production of your Custom Web Site at the highest level of quality.
I. Pre-Design
Identify your goals and objectives clearly for your company web site through the use of our Pre-Design Checklist that helps our web/graphic design team to begin production on your custom web site most effectively and efficiently.
If you have not yet registered a domain name, we will work with you to identify and register a domain name that best represents the image of your business.
II. Design/Production
Working with our completed Pre-Design Checklist, Blue Dog will integrate your company logo and/or any existing company graphics into your custom web site design.
If you have another source for web hosting, we will need access to the back end of your web hosting account. If you haven’t ordered hosting, Blue Dog can provide or recommend web hosting services.
If applicable, we will work with you to obtain a merchant account for E-commerce enabled web sites.
At strategic points during the production, we will upload pages for your review and approval. We will also make modifications and changes as necessary. Any major changes to the design or web development objectives must be added as a Web Site Change Order.
Upon completion of the base layout, we will integrate your content within the web site design. This would include shopping cart functionality, merchant account information and SSL certificates for E-commerce web sites. This is made availalable for your review during this stage of production.
III. Search Engine Optimization Phase/Final Review
For custom web design projects, Blue Dog will implement a complete search engine optimization process on the newly developed web site based upon the Pre-Design Checklist and a SEO consultation. Any changes to the site to improve SEO will be made at this time.
A final review is done to ensure that your company’s new web site meets Blue Dog’s 4 Key Elements to Outstanding Design.
IV. Post-Production Marketing Services
Where applicable, we will begin implementing any Search Engine Marketing techniques requested such as search engine submission, paid-directory submission, link building strategies, pay-per-click advertising campaigns and more.
Where applicable, we will begin initiating and creating any E-mail Marketing requested for ongoing marketing campaigns to customers or registrants of your custom designed web site.
